Meals on Wheels reached out to us to help with their first ever Holly Tamales program where they're selling boxes of a dozen tamales to San Diegans as a fundraiser. For every dozen sold, they'll be able to provide a lunch and dinner to a senior in need this holiday season (with many of their clients based in Mission Valley).

Meals on Wheels is seeking volunteers to assist with putting boxes together and packing tamales in them. It's a great intro to get to know their organization, without making a regular commitment. Volunteering for Holly Tamales take place at their brand new Kitchen and Senior Innovation Hub in Kearny Mesa.
